We need to wake up.

We need to understand the times we live in. We need to wake up.  Prophecy is being fulfilled right NOW! Jesus is coming soon. Don’t be caught not ready and watching for His return.

Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and Israel… why are they VERY important to a Christian… even those living in the on the other side of the world in the US.

Are we on the cusp of seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled with the destruction of Damascus foretold in Isaiah 17:1? Has the Arab Spring reached the U.S. with the “Occupy Wall Street” movement? J.D. Farag answers these questions and more in this prophecy update.

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.  Romans 13:11-12

Kilroy Klutch Purse

When I was really little, way back in grade school, I liked to take my lunch to school with me. Not only did you get to carry the latest cartoon character lunch box, :P but what mom packed usually tasted better than what the school served. There would be a sandwich, (pb&j was my favorite!), some chips, either Bill Cosby’s Jello Pudding (back then it was in a can!) or some fruit and something to drink. Then, way at the bottom there was always a napkin with a little note wrote on it from mom. More often than not, it would have Kilroy drawn on it with something like, “Have a great day, Love Mom”.  Sometimes, she would write a verse on it like, “This is the day the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it”. No matter how bad the day was going, my Kilroy napkin always made it a little better and brought a smile to my face.

A few weeks ago, I had a dream and in it, I saw the cutest Kilroy but it was in crochet. I woke up with this idea for a Kilroy Klutch. Now, it can be very versatile just by changing the size. It would make a cute little purse for your favorite little girl. You could make it a hook holder. If you sized way down, you could probably change it around a bit and make a really nifty cell cozy. Whatever you decide to do with your Kilroy, I hope he brings a smile to your face like he always did to mine. :)

This pattern has NOT been tested yet so if you find any mistakes, please let me know. Thanks!

A Very Real Dream

This is from a fellow Brother in Christ, Eric Nelson. I am reposting with his permission.

As I write this note, I’m still in shock from the dream that I just had in which I saw a picture of the rapture of the church and experienced what God’s wrath will be like for those left behind during the event. The following dream occurred on Aug 18, 2011 at 2am. The dream is as follows:

I was at work (Day shift at the Police department) and was standing in the briefing room where my fellow Police Officers and I gather each morning prior to going out in our vehicles on patrol. We were watching the news on television as we normally do at the start of each shift. Some officers were sitting in chairs and some were standing. We watched news clips of riots occurring all over the world. The news reports showed riots occurring in major cities, small towns, at sporting events…etc. I saw people acting like crazed animals. They were breaking into buildings and causing general mayhem everywhere. I thought to myself “We’re lucky that this hasn’t occurred in our town yet”. Then the news camera zoomed in on a group of people standing in a parking lot near some buildings. The people seemed to be shouting something towards those individuals engaging in the riots but they themselves did not take part in the riots. All of the sudden that specific group of people disappeared. I immediately thought to myself “The rapture has just occurred”. One of the officers standing behind me said “DID YOU SEE THAT?…THOSE PEOPLE JUST DISSAPEARED”. The strange thing was that I could sense that the officer was going to say that before the words actually came out of his mouth. Before I could even cry out “Jesus don’t leave me behind”! I felt a sense of fear unlike anything that I can put into words. (The words that I will use to try to explain the fear that I felt will do no real justice to my experience) I felt a fear of God’s wrath being poured out on the world at that moment. A feeling of “We’ve finally pushed God too far”, “We’ve finally gone beyond what he is willing to put up with”. It was kind of like the feeling that you would get as a child when you did something really bad and just knew deep down inside that your father was going to unleash his anger “Full Fury” on you when he saw you ONLY A THOUSAND TIMES WORSE!!! That overwhelming sense of approaching dread. It was like staring into the face of a ferocious Lion that was getting ready to pounce on you. It was a sense of complete hopelessness and abandonment. The fear was unlike any fear that I ever felt before in my entire life. Not like the fear that you would feel from being assaulted, murdered, raped, or even dying. No, it was a different kind of fear. I FELT LIKE THE VERY BEING THAT MADE ME….MY CREATOR… HAS LEFT ME ALONE TO FEND FOR MYSELF!!! IT WAS HORROR….PURE HORROR!!

All of these feelings that I felt and the words that I spoke and heard occurred in a nanosecond. Before I could even say…”Jesus don’t leave me behind”…. Before the words even came out of my mouth…I started floating up towards the ceiling. Two feelings came over me as the fear subsided and I began to float upwards towards the ceiling of the room…(1) that I wasn’t being left behind and (2) that God simply wanted me to experience what it will be like for those who ARE left behind at the rapture of believing Christians who are LOOKING FOR and LONGING FOR the return of Christ. I awoke just before I reached the ceiling crying out in my sleep. My moaning is what awoke me from my dream. I got up and was stunned by what happened.

Now for those of you who say “Ok Eric, so what! You had a real intense dream…big deal” I’d like to reveal what the Bible says in regards to dreams and visions during the last days on earth prior to the return of Christ.

‘In the last days, God says, I will pour my Spirit on everyone. Your sons and daughters will speak what God has revealed. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams. Acts 2:17.

If you’re reading this note and you have not made Jesus Christ Lord of your life yet then I’m pleading with you to do so now. Turn away from any sin in your life and ask Jesus to forgive you for any and all your sins and for him be to Lord of your life. You eternal destination is at stake. Whatever you choose to do from this point forward is up to you but you can’t say that you weren’t warned. Be Ready…Jesus is coming soon!

And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man (Jesus) is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of the trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world-from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven. Matthew 24:30,31.

It’s Time

It’s time to get ready for Christ’s soon, sudden return for the believers. Though things are looking bleak on the financial and political horizons, just lift your eyes a little higher and soon we’ll see Jesus coming back for us in the clouds of glory. So don’t despair — prepare! ~ Hal Lindsey

Are you murdering your brother?

All sin is equal in the eyes of God. There is no such thing as a ‘little white lie’. Matthew 5:21-28 tells us that if you hold hate in your heart for another, it’s the same as murder. If you look at another with lust, it’s the same as adultery.  All sin leads to hell (eternal death) whether it’s holding a grudge, stealing, lying, unforgiving or murdering.

Is there someone you haven’t forgiven? Someone that you know you should have let go of a long time grudge but just won’t? Then in God’s eyes, it’s the same as if you are murdering that person.

James 2:10 says, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.”

Whether you actually murder your brother (sister, neighbor, etc) or you just have hatred or unforgiveness in your heart towards them, all sin is created equal and all sin leads to Hell… eternal damnation (death).

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

The good news is that Jesus can forgive you. Jesus died on the cross and took our sins on His broken body. He died and rose again so that you wouldn’t be stuck with your sin.

“For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” 1 Peter 3:18

However, you have to ask Him for forgiveness. You have to accept His gift of salvation. Then you have to change… you have to let go of the hate, let go of the unforgiveness…. yes, you have to forgive others.

“For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14,15

You can’t do this alone but if you ask Jesus for His help, He will give it to you. First, confess your sins to Him and He is faithful to forgive you of your sins.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

You also have to repent or turn from your sin. Repent in Greek means ‘to change your mind’. So if you are sinning and repent means to ‘change your mind’ from that sin….  it means stop doing it.

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord”  Acts 3:19

My prayer is that you turn all your unforgiveness and bitterness over to God and let Him help you to forgive others so that He might forgive you. Love in Christ.
