I haven’t been on the blog for quite some time and apologize for that. Life has been busy.
I have still been crocheting, quite a bit over the winter but slowed down a little for now. I have made scarves, toys, totes, shawls, hats and more as gifts lately. I am about to make a few toys for a friend: an owl, a dalmatian and a Hungry Caterpillar. Maybe that will get my hook back in action for a while.
I have also moved since I have last posted. I am now an Okie again. It’s been 20 years and lots has changed but this is where life has led me for now. My new passion is motorcycles. A friend started taking me riding and I fell in love. I had to have one so I am now the proud owner of a Honda Shadow. If it’s warm out and I have some free time, I’m out on the road.
I have a few patterns I’m hoping to get written up and share on here soon. Just got to make myself sit down long enough to do it. Thank you for all the comments and emails you’ve sent while I was missing in action. Hopefully, I can keep this updated a bit better.
I haven’t posted in quite some time but I feel burdened to tell people that time is running out!!! If you don’t know God, YOU are running out of time. Please watch this video. It’s full of very important facts that you need to know. And then I pray that you realize just how close Jesus’ return is. Time is short so be ready! He does not wish that anyone should perish and spend eternity in Hell and He is giving you every opportunity to come to Jesus and ask for His forgiveness. Open your heart to Him. Ask Him to come into your life while there is still time. God bless.
I am now taking custom orders for crocheted items for Christmas. A custom handmade item is a great gift for anyone! Ladies love kitchen items, granny totes to carry stuff in, scarves, cell cozies, lapghans.
Lapghans or afghans can be made for men as well in favorite sports team colors. Crocheted baby blankets make a special gift for those new babies in the family. Can also make toys for the little ones, animals, character hats and more! Just give me an idea of what you are looking for!
My world has felt a little chaotic lately so this tote is named Pink Chaos. When it feels like everything has gone crazy, I turn to God for help and crocheting for a little stress relief.
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all. (Psalm 34:17-19)
I have decided to offer a giveaway for the Pink Chaos Tote. It is made out of Peaches N Cream Black Cherry (pink, white, black) and Cotton Ease Stone (gray) cotton yarn. It’s a smaller tote about 10″ across and 10″ tall not counting the handles. Great for a small project, a book and a snack or anything else you need to tote around. It’s made from Carlinda Lewis’ Granny Ripple Bag pattern.
Please only enter once. I will contact the winner to get shipping info after the drawing. I’m sorry but for my first giveaway, it is limited to residents of the continental US.
Good luck to everyone and just remember when your world gets a little chaotic:
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. (Psalm 62:1-2)
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNER OF THE PINK CHAOS TOTE:
Note: Unfortunately, the first chosen winner did not respond after multiple tries of contacting her,
so I have picked another winner. I use a random generator to choose the winner.
Thank you all for participating. Check back sometime as I may do another giveaway.
Thanks again and God bless.
